Transplant Day!

I transplanted the lettuce into their planters today!  There are five seedlings in each bucket, and I put the extra in the pop bottle planter that formerly belonged to the sunflowers.  I’m hoping that the plants were strong enough to survive the transplant, since I had some trouble getting them out of the fiber pots. Another photo from a walk the other day.  This was taken in the Tuttle Park area of the Olentangy Trail, where some slight flooding left large puddles here and there.  I found their reflections intriguing, so I snapped a few pictures, and this one turned out looking the most interesting.

My lettuce seedlings are 13 days old and about an inch tall now!  I’ve noticed that they’re starting to suck up more water now, so I hope that means they’re healthy and stuff.
