I started out this one intending to paint a little dish of knicknacks I have on my desk, then decided it would be interesting to do part of a face.  Maybe next time I’ll do a whole face and see how it goes.

Another 10 minute speedpainting, this time in color. It sometimes surprises me how slow I am on the uptake on some things.  I do warmup sketches for drawing comics, but it never occurred to me to do warmups for painting backgrounds.  At least, until a few days ago.
