ConnectiCon Program Cover

This was my entry for ConnectiCon’s program cover contest.  Every year, CTCon has art contests for their program guide covers and t-shirts, and the prizes are always free spots in their Artist Alley (or Artist Colony).  I already had a table reserved this year, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to enter the contest to see if I could get it for free instead.  CTCon is such an expensive convention for me, after all.

Nonetheless, I did not win.  I rather like my entry, though; it’s the first steampunk art I’ve ever done, and I’ve always liked the aesthetic of the genre.  And it’s always refreshing to take a break and do non-comic-related art every once in awhile.  ^_^
