Alex Heberling

This is based on the character of Dio from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.  The rule for badges, if you haven’t figured it out already, is that one or both of the mascots need to be incorporated into the subject, or vice-versa.  Dio made it hard.

Dio is so goddamned manly, I had a lot of trouble translating him into a girl.  (Heart accessories notwithstanding.)

So I was wrinkling my brow as I prepared to draw this badge when something ocurred to me:  cosplayers.  I searched instead for females cosplaying as Dio, which helped me immensely.  I think I’m rather clever for thinking of it.  ^_^  I have to give props to Evil Kimba, the lady whose cosplay I found, for the help.

And as it turned out, the caption on the Stand Za Warudo badges read “Dio never looked so womanly.”
