Starfleet!Garanos came about when I pulled an April Fool’s Day prank on Garanos readers. In the middle of a fight, I revealed that the entire comic takes place on a holodeck on the Enterprise. I took the opportunity to draw Garanos in a skimpy miniskirt version of the Starfleet uniform from TNG.

I drew this the first week of April and started getting it ready to color, but then I decided to save it for my Photoshop panel at Penguicon. I didn’t quite get it finished during the panel, but I finally found some time last Sunday to finish her up.
