AP09 Art: Dream Warrior

The reference for this badge art is the Satoshi Kon movie Paprika, which is about a doctor who uses super dream therapy technology to help psychiatric patients under an identity she assumes while in the dream world; the titular Paprika.
The beginning of the movie depicts Paprika jumping from place to place, usually from billboards to TV screens and vice-versa. Ideally, the badges themselves would have been a FREAKING AWESOME medium in which to do this. Alas, no such technology exists that would allow a moving image to jump between several paper badges. That, or my art does not yet transcend into dreams.
Ann obviously fits the looks of Dr. Chiba, and Penny works quite well as Paprika. If only I had remembered to draw Paprika’s distinctive red hair with Penny’s pigtails so this wouldn’t just look like fanart.
